Movement Matters- a simple guided movement practice

Movement Matters with Tali Rose, MA, RDMP

In addition to my yoga practice, I'm a certified Dance Movement Psychotherapist (MA) and have been leading Movement Matters circles for over a decade, both online and in person. These therapeutic sessions provide a supportive space for self-expression, healing, and connection between mind, body, heart and soul through movement.

Who is this For?

Everyone is welcome! Whether you simply love to move or are looking for a way to shift stagnant energy, these classes can help you:

  • Restore your natural flow if you're feeling stuck.

  • Gain clarity and insight through creative exploration and self-reflection.

  • Break free from repetitive thought patterns that no longer serve you.

  • Reconnect with yourself through intentional movement, creating space for transformation and renewal.

  • Connect with others.

What to expect?

I curate a beautifully eclectic playlist to guide you through a movement journey that creates connection, self-awareness, and release. Through music and gentle guidance, I help you tap into your innate body wisdom, release emotional blockages, and cultivate a deeper sense of self-acceptance. In a supportive and inclusive space, movement becomes a tool for personal transformation, empowerment, and freedom—allowing you to embody the change you seek.

Testimonials

“Tali has a creative and varied movement vocabulary and can teach people to develop a love and awareness of their movement with simplicity and generosity”

“I had such a deep, emotional experience at this last week, certainly helped shift some heavy stuck energy in my body, exactly what I was needing! It is led so beautifully by Tali, her gentle voice guiding you through, I'm definitely getting up early (on my day off!!!) to join again this week” JT - a Movement Matters practitioner

“This work brought many new insights to me. I asked if it was possible to book one to one classes as well. It was! I had 5 individual 1:5 hours sessions and this is really something I can recommend to anyone! It is more expensive then a group class, but you receive guidance, challenges and feedback that speaks directly to you. I learned so much about myself when neglected parts of the body suddenly got attention! It was a joyful process! I usually live in Sweden and am very happy that I found this during my stay in Brighton. Thank you Tali!” MS - a previous participant

A Morning of Well-Being ~ Movement Matters in person 2025

A nourishing and empowering morning for women, offering a space to reconnect with your body and inner wisdom. Through movement, yoga, nature, ritual, meditation, sound, and reflection, we create a safe and supportive environment to explore life’s transitions, release what no longer serves you, and embrace a deeper sense of balance and belonging.

In many indigenous cultures, women have long gathered to share wisdom, offer support, and pass down healing traditions. Here, we rekindle that circle of connection, shared experience, and collective strength.
